Why Choose FlagOff?
Automate Your Flag Lifecycle
FlagOff scans your codebase, detects stale flags, and automatically starts the cleanup workflow by creating GitHub Issues, Jira tickets, or alerting your team on Slack. Our commitment is that we will alert you on any stale flags found in your codebase (and be as annoying as possible to get you to fix them 😉).
Private by Default. Zero PII
We believe your customer's data should never leave your system. All evaluations happen locally, and unlike competitors, your user's PII never hits our servers. This means zero privacy headaches and instant GDPR/HIPAA compliance.
Built for 100% Reliability
Our SDKs are offline-first. Even if the network is down or our service is interrupted, your app never breaks. Flags default to a safe, cached state so your features are never unintentionally exposed.
Our Story
FlagOff was born out of pure frustration. As lead engineers, we saw team after team get burned by their feature flagging tools.
We were constantly forced to make a bad choice: Either use a complex "enterprise" tool that secretly ingested our customer's PII, creating a compliance nightmare. Or, use a clunky self-hosted tool that was private but left us to manually clean up a mountain of stale flags.
We hunted for a tool that was built for developers. One that was private-by-default (no PII, ever) and had automated hygiene baked in from day one. And we found that the tools that did exist were complex, over-engineered, and a pain to use. They'd built a "solution" that was just as bad as the problem.
We decided to build the tool we actually wanted to use. Our mission is simple: give you the power to ship faster and safer, with a platform that's a joy to use. Our focus on automated flag hygiene isn't just a feature—it's our commitment to leaving your codebase cleaner than we found it.
